Pedro joined Liberty Orthodontic Centre in 2017 as a Registered Dental Hygienist. He gradated from George Brown College in 2013 and began working in the general dental field immediately following. Shortly after, he realized his passion for orthodontics and decided the ortho specialty is where he belongs.
He thrives on the relationships built with patients, the patient transformations, and the lifelong learning orthodontics offers. Pedro places and removes braces, and changes wires at every visit. In his spare time he enjoys sports, cars and dogs.
Lucas is a Registered Dental Hygienist who became a part of the LOC team in 2016. It was his own orthodontic treatment that prompted him to become a Dental Hygienist in the ortho field. The changes in the smiles of patients who have undergone treatment is what makes it all meaningful for Lucas and he couldn’t picture doing anything else.
You can find Lucas in the clinic placing braces, removing braces, and placing wires. He enjoys spending time with his friends, completing artistic projects and attending music festivals.
Maggie graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at George Brown College shortly after completing her Bachelor of Science at the University of Waterloo. Watching patients achieve their optimal smile and being part of that process is what motivates Maggie to continuously learn and grow with the practice. As part of the LOC team, Maggie changes wires, places and removes braces and provides oral hygiene education.
Away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing soft darts and is starting a new hobby – calligraphy.
Christine graduated from Durham College in 2017 and eagerly joined the LOC team shortly after. She works on a one-to-one basis with patients as she helps them start their orthodontic treatment, by taking impressions, records, and x-rays. She is also responsible for sterilization, greeting patients and scheduling appointments. Christine loves watching the progress of each patient’s teeth when he or she is in braces, and especially enjoys seeing how happy patients are as their teeth become straighter between each appointment.
When she isn’t at the office, Christine enjoys cooking and baking, trips to the cottage and spending time with her boyfriend, and their dog and cat.
